Doug Chalmers

Doug Chalmers is a Senior Advisor at Overture Advisors, LLC.  He has 20 years of experience in high technology company management, corporate development, fund raising and M&A with both emerging and growth companies.   Doug is passionate about helping companies reach successful exits by assisting their efforts to build sales, brands and ecosystems by using best practices and appropriate strategies.  Over the course of his career, he has developed deep expertise in the applications software, digital media / marketing and the information security industries. As CEO of DecisionPower, Doug led the launch of an innovative SaaS based website for advertisers; AdPlanit.com which is revolutionizing how advertisers plan their media buys.   Prior to DecisionPower, Doug was Vice President of Sales and Business Development at RedCannon Security.  While there, Doug successfully launched an enterprise security solution that has become an industry standard. Prior to RedCannon, Doug was President of Pointsec Mobile Technologies where he was instrumental in helping Pointsec restructure its US operations, achieve profitability, and ultimately an acquisition by Check Point Software.

Doug currently serves on a number of boards, and in his advisory capacity is helping companies raise funding and achieve successful exits through mergers and acquisitions.  He is very active in philanthropic and charitable causes in the community.   Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Pacific.
