Rob Held

Rob Held is a Senior Advisor at Overture Advisors, LLC. He helps clients drive strategic change through mergers, acquisitions, partnerships and joint ventures. Rob brings over 15 years of experience evaluating, investing in, revitalizing, and operating technology companies. As a strategic management consultant with The Monitor Company and other firms, he developed the skills and tools necessary to accurately assess a company’s situation and determine the M& A strategy required to optimize corporate performance. As a business operator such as when he ran business development for the telecommunications equipment supplier, Sonus Networks, he developed the ability to connect high-level strategic plans with real world conditions – turning M&A vision into tactical execution and ensuring a successful post-merger integration. Most recently, as an M&A professional within both the corporate and financial investor framework, he developed the due diligence and transactional expertise required to both accurately assesses the value of companies and bring the deal to close. Rob received his B.A. from Stanford University, and an MBA from Yale University. He is married with three children and lives in the New York City area.
