Sean Sundstrom

Sean Sundstrom is a Managing Director of Overture Advisors, LLC.  He is a senior investment banker with substantial US and cross-border M&A, complex divestments, fund raising, private equity and corporate development credentials in the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sectors. He manages the client's entire M&A process from origination, business development, structuring, valuation and closing.

Prior to Overture Advisors, Sean was a Director of Corporate Finance for KPMG Corporate Finance LLC where he focused on the software, telecom and IT services industry sectors. Prior positions include: Senior Vice President of Business Development at Parallax Capital Partners (a technology focused private equity firm affiliated with Golden Gate Capital); Managing Director and COO at Regent Associates International, the US subsidiary of the London based investment banking firm; President of Technology Associates Intl.; and Investment Banker and Research Director at Broadview Associates where he began his career. Sean has originated and led transactions totaling well over $700MM in consideration. He has conducted divestment programs on behalf of Cable & Wireless, Dow Jones, Control Data (Welsh Carson) and EDS; negotiated the sale of companies to Redwood Software, Platinum Equity, Keane, EMC, SunGard, Thomson and GFI Informatique; and managed buy side projects on behalf of Platinum Technology, American Management Systems and Cambridge Technology Partners among others. He has substantial industry and private equity contacts in the U.S. and Europe. He earned an MBA in International Business and Finance at George Washington University (1979) and a BA in French Studies at American University of Paris (1977). He is fluent in French and English.
